I'm honestly quite surprised by how nice this Leaflet actually looks. Some block options similar to advanced Markdown from Obsidian or Notion, and plenty versatile with the formatting, the sans-serif font clearly inspired by typewriters also give me this interesting feel of "these words matter more".

What is the purpose of this place, then?

I'm not prone to longer texts, at least not publicly, but I do feel the constraint of 280-or-so characters per post on Bluesky, specially regarding health-related updates and sillier ramblings like about games and shows, and my most recent endeavor regarding diversifying my income in some way that I can still keep up with.

Or that at least I think I can keep up with, those are more common these days.

I tend to avoid being too public about everything that I consume and that goes through my head, but every single day I feel that the commodification of quick-format content and the surge of extremely lazy AI content that floods the internet makes every bit of original content much more valuable and worth creating.

And that, of course, includes metablogging aka blogging about blogging, like this.

Should I expect something from this?

If you're asking that, it means you read this far. That is, honestly, the best answer that I can provide regarding what this will entail. As long as you can keep up with terribly written, top-of-the-head writing with absolutely no planning in it, you'll still have a good time around here.

I'm thinking on putting in some longer tabletop roleplaying games thoughts here, such as dissecting whichever system I'm reading through and how it relates to all my other experiences, and maybe even starting some Solo Play to be documented in blogging format!

I think it's a good endeavor just to create something. There is a serious issue with just mindlessly consuming whatever content is put in front of you, and I'm always tempted by this specific skinner box design of social media.

A blog could do wonders on the "stop endlessly consuming and create something" feeling that permeates the internet so heavily lately.
